The Grooming Lodge is a fully equipped log cabin with carefully selected professional equipment and products. ‘The Lodge’ is set in a tranquil environment providing a relaxed and stress free experience for your dog. The welfare of your dog is our main priority and your dog will be the only dog in The Grooming Lodge and will be pampered on a personal basis. They will be treated with as much love and respect as our own dogs. The dog grooming experience will be as enjoyable and positive as we can make it so that your dog leaves happy and is excited to return.

We operate at all times on a one to one basis so your dog will not be kept waiting or put in a kennel/crate. We have created a calm, relaxing environment for your dog so that the grooming experience is as enjoyable and positive as possible.
Animal welfare is our main priority. We will never push a dog to endure anything that they are uncomfortable with and while they are in our care they will be treated as if they were our own.

I have many years experience of working with dogs of varying sizes and backgrounds. My interest in dogs has developed through learning about canine behaviour with our first dog, a German Wirehaired Pointer. Having also experienced the rewards of owning rescue dogs, we helped a local rescue for a couple of years with fostering various dogs to assist in finding the right home. I have also volunteered with the Cinnamon Trust (www.cinnamon.org.uk) who help elderly people keep their companion dogs and have worked in a dog care day centre.
We now have 4 dogs, 3 of which are rescue.
Dog grooming has therefore been a natural progression. I trained at The Dog House at Hempton, Fakenham and am qualified to City & Guilds Level 3.
